『Malaysia』 Sakura Popiah - Popiah

Wallace's Recommendation: Sakura Popiah
I loooooove Popiah!!!
I used to buy Popiah from Malay hawker in my hometown night market until i thought this is kind of Malay food
In fact, Popiah is originated from Hokkien / Teochew people

When I came to work in KL, I always look for tasty & crispy Popiah
Way back to year 2010, I remembered my colleague bought me『Sakura Popiah』 from Jalan Tiong Nam morning market
Oh gosh~ I fall in loooove with that Popiah in that seconds, this is what I am looking for in KL!!!
Since that day onwards,『Sakura Popiah』 is my weekly Wednesday breakfast, haha~
See, the Popiah are all freshly made on the spot once you had placed your order, serve it hot mah~ :P
Since the order volume from customer is crazy, the lady boss normally will prepare 8 to 10 Popiah each round
The assistant will in charge of take away and cashier :D

Firstly, spread the home made sweet sauce on the Popiah skin (yeah, the wrapper! :P)
Follow by some cucumber slices, minced tofu, yam bean fillings and the crispy + crunchy fried thing!!
Well, you can advise her to add sweet / chilli sauce if you prefer heavy flavour
Oh yeah~ My breakfast is ready~
Mmm... Looks nice and taste nice!!
With about RM2, you can get such a fully stuffed delicious Popiah!!
I am full with great satidfaction with this 2 rolls of『Sakura Popiah』=)
Okay, let me try first! Hungry~
Can you see the fillings? Tsk tsk tsk...

『Malaysia』 Restoran Pontian Wantan Mee - Tomato Sauce + Chilli Sauce Wantan M

Wallace's Recommendation:Tomato Sauce + Chilli Sauce Wantan Mee
When I am driving, I think of wanna eating Wantan Mee
So co-incidently I bumped into this 『Restoran Pontian Wantan Mee』when I am about leaving Kuchai Lama
Ok, let's have a try! =)
As we all know, Pontian is well known for its Wantan Mee
You can notice there is a wide spread of Wantan Mee history on the right wall when you step into the restaurant
Wow, this Wantan Mee exists since year 1948!
If you understand chinese, there are 4 chinese idioms on the wall which is a very creative deco to me ^^
There are about a variety of 10 BBQ Pork Wantan Mee on the menu
Let's choose an extraordinary Wantan Mee =D

Taa~Dang...
『Tomato Sauce + Chilli Sauce Wantan Mee』
Yummy! I never thought of Wantan Mee can be matched in this way :P
Slurrrpppp~ I like the sauces mix!!!
Next, we have『Wantan Mee with Mushroom & Minced Meat』
See, the muchroom slices and minced meats are soo much, such a generous chef :P
I love the half-crispy fried wantan! >.^
The owner names this plate of fried dish as『Assorted』
It consists of fried fish paste, otak-otak & fried wantan
Hmm... Otak-Otak is standing out of the bunch!

『Malaysia』National Science Centre School Holiday Special - Dinosaurs Live!

Apart from『Mid Valley Mickey Mouse Exhibition』, I shall recommend you guys another school holiday attraction --『National Science Centre Dinosaurs Live!』
The traffic was super heavy due to Agong birthday on last Saturday
You can see the illegal parking around National Science Centre
The limited parking space and arrangement is not really done well
We grabbed out ticket, let's go!

I am pretty sure 80% of the visitors today are coming for the Dinosaur Exhibition
The crowd was jump queueing & sardine-ing into the National Science Centre entrance
Well, Welcome to Malaysia~~ :P

Once you put your step forward, there is an Aquarium in front
You can see all sort of fishes swimming freely above your head in the transparent hemisherical glass made Aquarium
We even saw a diver feeding fishes!
Can you see the giant Arowana? That's really huge!

『National Science Centre』is a great learning place for kids
It reminded me the Physics that I have learnt N years ago too
The are some invention with air pressure and water pressure for visitors to play around
You can hear the kids asking "Mommy, why like that one?" "Daddy, how to make this?"  blah blah blah
Parenting education plays an important role here... hehehe
Let's move forward, we are approaching『Go Science and Maths』zone
Science and Maths change the world and ease our routine life as well
A big thanks to the magnificient scientists for the knowledge and contributions... Applause~
Oh my godness~ why so many kids turn excited in this zone?
Haha... just realized am entering『Kid World』... No wonder~
Can you see the high rise playground? It's free admission!
Parents were waiting outside as their kids already can't wait to enter their territory zone have fun to the fullest
Oh ya, there is a dinosaur skeleton model welcoming your arrival in the center
Is your kids the next magnificient scientist? It's never too late to cultivate their interest in Science and Maths :)

Next is『Art Meet Science』zone
There are some activities designed for kids like drawing, colouring, jigsaw puzzle, riding etc
You may find vintage computer anatomy down the road

Finally, we reached the entrance to『Dinosaur Live!』
You can see the exhibition signboard everywhere
The authority is putting a lot of effort to create awareness to the public

『National Science Centre Dinosaurs Live! Exhibition』
Date: 1/5/2012 - 31/7/2012 (Closed on Friday)
Ticket Price: Pls refer to Picture 2 or visit the website below
Official Website: http://www.dinosaurslive.com.my/
Facebook: www.facebook.com/dinosaurslive.my
Tips: In case you are not interested with these ancient creatures, you can just bought the ticket solely for Science Centre

Honestly, I am actually wondering how bad would the dinos be but the exhibition is surprisingly good to me!
The dinosaurs were made according to their actual size billion years ago
They looked alive and super huge, it can move somemore!
(Oppsss... to my surprise again) :P
Well, not to say the dinos are really moving around but their legs, tails, eyes, mouth can slightly move~ and yes, they ROAR too!
This year exhibition is totally different compare to last year
The 2012 dinos were in actual size and it looked real~ but still look ugly larr~
We used to see the dinos in movie『Jurassic Park』but now you can witness how gigantic the dinos in old days~

The 30 electronic dinos gotta stay here for 3 months
This year, the authority reshape the dinos in term of their movement, sound and habitate so that the whole environment is more realistic rendering of the dinos era
Besides entertainment, the exhibition is meant for education as well
I believe public can have a more comprehensive understanding towards dinos from this exhibition
Overall, 『National Science Centre』is a fun place for family time! =)

『Malaysia』Mid Valley School Holiday Special - Mickey Mouse Through The Years Since 1928

Are you wondering where to go in this May-June 2012 school holiday?
Let's go to Mid Valley Mickey Mouse Exhibition!!
May I know who doesn't know Mickey?
We all get to know him via cartoon show, comic & Disneyland
But...did you witness and take picture with him before?

Our appreciation to the joint organizers - Mid Valley Megamall, HSBC & IFC
The theme of the function is Mickey Mouse Through The Years Since 1928

Date of Exhibition:
24/05/2012 - 10/06/2012 Centre Court, Ground Floor, Mid Valley Megamall
11/06/2012 - 17/09/2012   Exhibition Hall, Third Floor, Mid Valley Megamall
This exhibition displayed 350 Mickeys with 6 inches height, 18 Mickeys with 2 feet height, 8 Mickeys with 6 feet height and the only 1 Mickey with 10 feet height right at the center!!!
The participants of the said function are mainly from Mid Valley shoplot partners, about 70%. The rest are respresentative from learning institute, school, media, artist, local artist etc...

I shall let you have a sneak preview on one of the 6 feet height Mickey
This is not the traditional Mickey that we recognized since childhood, yet this is definitely an Think-Out-of-Box Mickey!!!
Wondering about the other seven 6 feet height Mickey? Come to discover yourself :P
Wow~ Such a giant color brush!! Who's going to use it?
Well, the owner is...the 10 feet height Mickey in red pant and yellow shoes standing in the center, on a 360 degree rotation platform, under a giant Mickey Head stand!

I can see the extremely excited kids busy taking picture with all the Mickeys in the exhibition
Oppsss... I should say not only kids, adults as well~ hehehe
Is this pair of Mickey match? Or the traditional Mickey and Minnie?
Oh Boy! He is the BEST since 1928... GOSH!! Cool right?
The Red Queen (Alice in Wonderland) designed by A Cut Above is super photogenic!!! My camera loves it so much!!
There are Mickey hardworks from Philosophy Men, Girls etc
Not enough of Mickeys picture? Keep scrolling down!
Although my life has past more than a quarter of century, I am still fascinated by this legendary icon :D
My Nikon is kinda busy that night, keep snapping but don expect me to share with you all yeah :P
While snap Mickeys, I am impressed by some of the design
Every participant is given the same Mickey model in white colour, it is based on your creativity and innovative to come out with your very own Mickey design!!!
Bravo to all the participants!!!
Well, if you would like to have your very own Mickey
You can purchase a 6 feet height Mickey model and design it yourself~
The raised fund would donate to Down Syndrome Association as charity purpose
Haha... Just realized the number of pictures I took is less than 10% of the total Mickeys in Mid Valley
I strongly recommend you to bring yourself here to witness mountains of creative designed Mickeys
Who knows you might recall your sweet childhood memory here :)
